a common refrain during the smackdownv heyday was "IN SMACK WE TRUST!!!"

this of course was a play on the phrase "IN GOD WE TRUST" (which is also a GREAT STRYPER song! ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gkrfn1JB_JQ).

of course that mantra would later be bitterly regretted by smackdown's former loyal followers: the smack in whom they trusted... led them down a huge hole of debt and then disappeared. sad.

reminds me of the story of the titanic-- they said "even GOD could not sink this ship!" then, on its maiden voyage, it sunk.
