i think that Pittsburgh will win the opener at Heinz Field. By the way Atalanta will be without WR Jenkins ruled out in this game. So the Pitt defense will have to focus only on White and Turner and i think that will be easy.

#3The Steelers' rush defence should be, once again this season, among the very best in the NFL. I'm not expecting a big day for Michael Turner.
There's no play I particularly like on this game, but if I had to choose, I'd be on Pittsburgh and the under 38.Comment -

#6Are you kidding the books are begging for you to take ATL at -1.5 that line is way to low for a team playing with their 3rd string. I know the steelers like the back of my hand on who they can beat and who they cant #1 the steelers dont lose home openers #2 Atl not so good on the road on grass #3 steelers Def will shut down Tuner. #4 the (steelers have an amaizing record against NFC teams) This game is almost to easy to take Pitt even with D.D at Q.B. If you dont take the steelers DO NOT take this game at all. Im am a steelers fan hard core but also realistic one. I will tell you when they are a good/bad matchupComment -

#10Pitt hasn't lost a home opener since they drafted Big Ben. I know he isn't playing but I don't think it will matter. I would take the ML.Comment -

#13Steelers are the best defense in the NFL with Polamalu. Turner will get nothing. This game will be on Matt Ryan.[B][B]They key isn't getting rich quick. The key is getting rich slowly, and enjoying it.

#18everyone seems to be on the under so im fading the lot of you the last 2 times these meet have ended up shoot outs totalling 79 and 68 points, to much is being read into the steelers qb situation this team is capable of at least 2 tds and 2 fgs meanin i only need 3 tds from the falcons

#21Something "strange" seems to happen when these two teams play one another. Think the last two have gone overtime, I`ll check that. I remember a Monday night game `bout 15 years ago, I had Atl plus 5 and with a minute or so left, the Steelers took a safety to give me the cover. I am staying away from this one today, but gun to head I`d take Atl.Comment -

#23Monday 10-25-99 the safety was the difference between winning and losing that wager with the Steelers (-5, closed -6) winning 13-9, and Yes the last two have gone OT.10/25/99ATL 9 - PIT 13ATL 6U 3710/25/99ATL 9 - PIT 13ATL 6U 37Comment -

#24The more I analyze and think about it Atlanta should win. On offense Atlanta will be fine. The question mark is on defense. Last year Atlanta was 10th against the run which is solid and they were 28th against the pass, but they did play Drew Brees twice, Tom Brady, Tony Romo, Eli Manning and Donovan McNabb. All these QBs threw for more than 4,000 yards last year except Donovan McNabb, but he his missed a few games due to injury. Does Dixon have the ability to exploit a suspect pass defense the same way some of top QBs did last year. Probably not. Atlanta should take care of buisness on the road today.Comment -
