NFL Season Over/Under wins pointbook week 1
So here's the deal: I am going to give a season wins points sportsbook a try. If there is interest, I'll post new odds each week. If not, I'll just let it drop away quietly.

    Terms:
*State clearly which side you are taking and transfer me the points necessary to cover your bet. (Example: Betting 22 to win 20 on Team A over 5.5 wins)
*Maximum baseline is 50 points (bet 55 to win 50 or bet 50 to win 55) per bet. This is for both of our protection - I don't want to have to slow pay anyone.
*Plays will be graded as soon as one side is guaranteed a win. (Example: team A is set at o/u 10.5 wins and starts the year 6-6. The maximum possible wins is now 10, so unders win and overs lose. No need to wait till all 16 games are played.)
*(Applies later) I will allow you to lock in profits/switch sides by taking the opposite side of an earlier bet. If you want to do this, ask first so I can calculate the points you need to post up to get to the position you want to end up with. (It will be less points than just placing the opposite bet since some will cancel each other out.)
*Only regular season wins count - post season does not.
*A tie counts as 0 wins (not .5)

I should also mention that I am in the point lending business, so you can rest assured that I won't be stiffing anyone because I understand what it feel like to get screwed.

lol. Nice. I will give you credit, this is a pretty clever way of asking for a loan that you don't have to start paying back for 6 months.

Well, people can and do bet these things with real money (myself included) so I thought why not with points? Also, the first win would be in <3 months and the season ends in about 4 so I have no idea where the 6 month figure came from. That said, yes I will use any points I collect for my normal purposes (loaning) in the interim. (But hey at least you know I won't lose them gambling.)
