    Beaneaters NFL 2010
Not a lot of time to get into details, but opening the season with the Saints -4.5. Will have other picks down the road.

Got off to a nice start with the Saints. Rest of my Week One picks are below. Yes, I know it is too many games, but it has worked for me in the past.

    San Fran -3
    Detroit +6.5

Ended up 5-2-1 for Week One. Can't complain.

      Week Two
After looking at all the games, thinking there was so much I liked, I realized of 16 games I only had four dogs. I know that can't be right. So I backed off a bit. Picks are listed below:

Atlanta -6.5 (three units). This line may fall into the dangerous too good to be true department, but I can't see how this game is close at all.
      Single units
Miami +5.5. Not high on the Vikings.
Dallas -7. Needs it far more than Chicago.
Tennessee -5. Playing the revenge angle. Really wanted to do the same with Baltimore, but will stick with the homeside.
Denver -3. Seahawks are overvalued after their week one stunner.
NYG +5. I think Eli steps up.
That is six games. If the 49ers line moves to six points, between now and Monday, I'm on that as well.

      Good luck to all

Settled for a disappointing 3-3 mark in Week 2, though the multi-unit Atlanta pick helped. Should have pulled the trigger on the 49ers, but never did. Obviously the Eli pick was a mistake.

I take a 8-5-1 record into week three. I changed it up a bit, putting some bets down late last Sunday. Got a couple lines I like, and appear to be on the wrong side of some others. Not happy I'm taking a bunch of favourites, either.

        Two units
Detroit +10.5. Really surprised this line has gone higher. What have the Vikings shone us?
NE -12.5. Happy I didn't have to go over two TDs.
Seattle +6. Fortunate here with an extra point, too. I'm a Chargers fan, but I can't forget what Seattle did at home to San Fran.
SF -1. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
Baltimore -10.5. I think Flacco bounces back big.
Houston -3. This one worries me, especially since it fell to 2.5. Almost bought it back to a single unit, but will follow my gut.

        Single units
Indianapolis -5.5. I think they want to establish themselves on the road.
New Orleans -3. Probably a sucker play, but when the line kept falling, I finally gave in.

I also have leans to Tampa and Jacksonville, but opted to avoid trying to get too cute.

        Good luck to all,
        Bean

Coming off one of my worst weeks ever with a 2-6 record. Disgusting. Now at 10-11-1 for the season.

          Week Four
          Four units, San Diego -9
Two units, NYG -3.5; Oak +3.5; Tennessee -6.5.
One unit, Indy -7; Baltimore +2.5.
          Good luck

like the picks this week, minus Oakland (which could go either way) but BOL!

Thanks loopy. For the record, I added Cincinnati this morning when the line dropped to 1.5. A single unit play.

Getting ready to quit posting. Pretty disappointed with how things are going, and don't think I'm really contributing anything worthwhile. Now at 13-15-1 for the season, we'll see how today goes.

                Three units
Tennessee +6.5. I jumped on this early in the week, convinced it would move to an even six. Guess I was wrong.
Tampa Bay +7. I thought this would drop, too. Cincinnati seems overrated at this point.

                Two units
Indianapolis -9. Another early week blunder. Hoping for the best.
                Atlanta -3.
                Houston -3.
                Denver +7
                Buffalo +1.
                NYJ -4.

Snuck back up to .500 at 18-18-1 this season with a 5-3 effort last week, but remain in the black thanks to some unit selections. Have seven plays this week, all for two units.

Atlanta +2.5. Arguably the best team in the NFC
St. Louis +9. Too many points for S.D. on the road.
Chicago -7. I got trigger happy on this line early in the week.
Denver +3.5. NYJ need a breather.
Miami +3. Solid road team, G.B. is beat up.
Houston -4.5. Off embarrassing loss, K.C. due for letdown mode.
Dallas +1.5. An anti-Favre bet if nothing else.
