Thursdays Play

New Orleans Saints -5.5 (1 Unit)

Lines moved a little bit since this mourning and I really dont want to see it go up to 6, so im going to jump on it now. Really think NO should take this one by at least a touchdown. Minnesota's CBs are banged up and I dont think that theyll be able to keep up with a NO 4 WR set. Favre's status doesnt sound too promising, having a lubrication injection in his ankle, and not to mention doing without his favorite target. Harvin is gunna have to step up and being out most of training camp that could be hard. I think NO will come out with an improved defense that is going to be completely focused on containing AP and making Favre show them he can beat them, and im not sure he can.

Lets open the season with a Win, GL to all

Dont bet on the cowboys skins game. Im a cowboys fan and were really banged up on the offensive line. romo cant even get a second to throw :/ just a heads up.

I heard their O-line was banged up, but I thought it was thier 2nd strings. When did you see Romo getting pressured? They seemed to fair pretty well their last pre season game vs Miami.

Colombo Kosier are out.. And the starters didnt play the last preseason game. The starters didnt score one TD in the preseason even tho its just preseason . Romo had no time to throw the ball. I Follow the cowboys Everyday .

Good info, thanks for the heads up. I dont really like betting against home dogs in the first place, so I might just have stay away from that one.

If the Saints had a friggin kicker you woulda won. I pushed as I got it this afternoon at -5. Don't beat yourself up, it's a long season.

Yeah, I know, just a terrible way to start the season. But theres a whole season for some breaks to go my way, it all comes back around ... Will post later with some Sunday picks.

I know, all home dog games, which I dont like, but I think that is just blinding people of how much better these teams are then there home foes. Buffalo and Seattle are arguably 2 or the 3 worst teams in the league.

The Ronnie/Ricky combo should have there way with Buffalo and I see Miami being in full control of this game. Buffalo has no team identity, they an iffy QB situation to say the least, practically no WR presence, and to banged up RBs forcing them to depend on their rookie sensation (which may not be a bad thing). See Miami forcing a few turnovers and having their way.

Was initially going to stay away from the Indy/Tex game, but the more I look at it the more I feel the line is just being played down. Houston is just a trendy play for all those saying "Oh Houston always plays them tough", "Oh this is a trap, Indy -2 is just too easy". Until Houston can get over the "playing them tough" hump and actually put a W on the board im backing Indy. Cant see Peyton letting a division rival take them down in week 1.

San Fran has a very promising defense this year, and there are many ? surrounding the Seattle offense. I see them having a very hard time moving the ball. And SF will be committed to the run and should be able to move the ball on the ground and keep control of the game. I think they are a much better team and that this should be a low scoring affair.

Ahh, we did. Had to see them actually do it. Indy had plenty of chances to take that game though redzone penalties killed them and not to mention that fumble. Just could not stop the run worth a lick. Good call man.

Having a miserable fuking day right now. Cant believe this SF game, unreal.

I know I shouldnt be chasing, especially it being week 1, but im definitely trying to eye up a play for tonight.

I bet on DAL -3, though I probably should have passed. I think they have a shot, but their line worries me. I'm hoping DAL can take advantage of McNabb.

Yeah im thinking of taking them on the ML. I cant see Washington beating them SU ... But then again I could see Seattle having there way with SF like they did.
