Haha, exactly why i love them tonight. His players know that they will get chewed out for nothing less than a victory tonight. I really love his philosophy. He is a straight shooter and doesn't put up with any bullshit or attitudes.

Dodger questions?

I've heard and read that the McCourts distraction has probably led to Torre's exit and that the players especially the younger one's have used that distration to not show up on game day. I guess the main issue is what do the Dodgers do over the winter? Mattingly looks like a good baseball guy, but it seems like the team is nothing but some junk in the owners closet. Is this team really gonna improve or will it just be status quo LA LA stuff next year. Have you heard anything? Looks like no one is being held accountable or will be when the season ends. My wifes family lives in the Valley, but they're Laker fans and don't follow baseball at all. It'd be interesting to see what you've heard and read so far since you obviously follow the team closely.

I posted up that i switched the buffalo play, the ne play and the no play. With those changes final record was 8-7-1 and the YGTW plays were 1-1-1. Very disappointing but the Bears will pick it back up this week. Total win was 11 units won and 11 units lossed. The parlay was a big loser but parlays are not a part of the system.

All in all for the first two weeks not bad. The system starts to pick up week 4. I've already modified it for week 3 because historically it has been by far the worst. I think the cowboys and seahawks should win this week. Miami should easily take care of the Jets also. Good luck to all. Hopefully we can breakeven or alittle better on sunday and win the 4 units on Monday!

Honestly if it wasn't for the computer spitting out the picks i would be all over GB in this one.
Honestly I think the divorce contributed to his departure. They are going to be cutting costs left and right next year and Torre if he manages is going to demand a hefty salary. Best case scenario they sell the team and the Dodgers can start fresh next year. My personal opinion is that Torre was not the right fit for this team. They are too young and they need a new fresh face that is going to light a fire under their asses every once in awhile. They probably took Mattingly because they could get him for cheap. Nothing against the guy I think he should do just alright next year but there is definetely better managers to be had out there. The dodgers future is pending on this divorce case. It is going into mediation tomorrow and we will see what happens. From what i hear its just been a disaster and full of lying and covering ups. If Frank ends up sole owner but is forced to give half of his salary away next year the dodgers are going to be last in the nl west. They will get rid of Kemp (which i wouldn't mind) and everyone else that has a big salary requirement. They've already tipped their hand by putting guys like blake, kuruda, and manny on waivers. I have no idea how it is going to turn out but it doesn't look optimistic for the dodgers next year.

First couple weeks have gone just about to plan right about even with the possibility of going up about 5 units after tonight's game. Week 4 is really when this system picks up.
