On both sides of the ball I'm sad to say. Depleted corners, downgraded receiver, corps, shaky o-line and 1 hit away from #2QB flailing away.Vikings +4.5 I think they will need more like +10 1/2

Yeah not too sure about this one but Favre has never missed a game in his career so there is no reason to think he's just gonna go down as soon as he gets hit. Also I think looking into a superbowl hangover with the Saints is something legit.

Vikings +5 to win 1 unit

I hate Brett Favre. The guy has an ankle problem, but he has never missed a game, theres no reason for me to think that he will ever be knocked out of a game. There is the revenge factor as well. Peterson is as solid as they come. Favre can make no-name WR's into somebodies, so I'm not really that worried about it. I think the Superbowl hangover factor is legit too, I feel like it happens every year. I could see this being a field goal type game. Also the only Vikings fan I know who actually went tout is on the Saints. 'nough said.

Patriots -4.5 to win 2 units

I love this play, and I have ever since it opened up. I've never been a believer in Palmer and I'm not sure what exactly has gotten him into category of "great" QB because he has done very little in his career. This team was successful last year, when they were running the ball with Benson and he was having a great year. Now they have got additions like Shipley, T.O. and Gresham. I have doubts with this offense because they'll get away from what won them games. Tom Brady is 2 years now off his injury and I think he will improve on his numbers from last year. Randy Moss has had by all reports a great offseason. Welker is back and Edelman is playing good as well. Patriots defense isn't great, and its young but I could see a lot of these young guys step up. The fact that its the home opener, also adds to my love of this play, they haven't lost at home in the first game since 2001.

With you all the way on Patriots. Other picks i like are San Fran as well as Indy who always cover on the road.

                    Dallas -3 (-130) to win 1 unit

Mcnabb's last game as an Eagle was against the Cowboys and it didn't go very well. He went 19/37 with 1 TD and 1 INT for 230 yards. The week before that, in the final game of the season. An important game that would give the winner home field advantage, they played the Cowboys as well. He was 20/36 with 223 Yards, No TD's, and no picks. The Redskins seem to have a lot of dysfunction right now with Haynesworth and Shanahan going at it. I've always felt Shanahan was one of the most overrated coaches in the NFL, and I think he proves that against the Cowboys. I don't think the Cowboys are that great either, but they have a solid offense. Dez Bryant should be back and I think they get it together and win this one easily

Please dont bet on the cowboys -3! im a cowboys fan i follow them every second of the day. O-line is really banged up and half of them are missing. Romo cant even get a second to throw the ball and they didnt even score 1 TD in the preseason even tho its just preseason.

Basically, Dallas get in the way of themselves. Injuries or not, if they had a capable coaching, this could be one of the best running games in the country. They certainly weren't utilized correctly against the Redskins. I have no idea wtf this team is doing with the Barber either, just retarded. Anyway a winning day regardless with the 2 units on the Pats

Ravens +1 to win 2 units

Been waiting for this one for a while, and I figured this would be a public play so I waited for the line to go up to possibly 3, but nah didn't budge. The Ravens have suffered some injuries on the defensive side, but they still have a great front 7. The key is that this is probably the best Ravens offense in there existence. Flacco is probably there best QB ever, and Boldin and TJ Houz are going to be great weapons for him. They have a great O-line and a great RB. I don't see this team having any trouble on offense this year, and I think they will be carrying the defense rather then how its been for the last 15 or so years the Ravens have been around. The Jets I just don't trust, I don't get where all the love came from. They had a good run in the playoffs but they were a .500 team during the regular season. Sanchez threw 12 TD's and 20 Int's. As of now I look at him as a pretty average QB with a lot of room for improvement. Who knows about Revis either, he might be in great shape he might be in terrible shape, no one really knows. Also I've always liked Greene running the ball but how is going to be being there primary? Just a lot of questions for me and this Jets team. The Ravens are a lot more complete team and the line is only like this because of the hype.
