this is why i stink at football. i can't understand why everyone loves the 49ers this week. i think it'll be close, but in the end i like brees and his offense to take over the game and cover the spread. i'm clueless.

I hear ya. The thing about pro football is that you can usually argue both sides effectively. The logical bet here is of course the Saints. But, everyone is dying to see if the 9ers performance last week was just an anomaly or if they really suck, hence you get the interest on the home dog. They were a home dog against the Cards last year and prevailed also. But, these ain't the Cards I assure you. If I tease the Saints and the over, I probably get a W which makes me square, but on the right side. If I play the 9ers & they cover, then I'm sharp in my own mind for 1 night.

I just remembered something else. Remember the Cards Monday night melt down against the Bears a few years ago? And The "They were who we thought they were" rant by Dennis Green. A very similar scenario could play out this Monday with Singletary cause the Saints can put up points in a hurry. Will be interesting to see what transpires if the 9ers get up by a couple of scores Monday & blow it. Or if they get drubbed again.

The Saints are who we thought they were! Eagles seem like an easy play I think Vick is gonna run the ball down their throat this week. I actually have Vick starting ahead of Schaub in a couple fantasy leagues believe it or not

Yea, Vick still has the skills. More importantly he has game experience. I'd take him over Schaub anyday. Looks like lots of action on the Eagles. Line has moved to -6.5 here. I assume you guys use Pinny or MB. Good odds there.

Yea, I mostly tail and then tease the picks I'm tailing just for that reason. (Hit on 6 out of 8 today just for points). Too much inexperience & mismatches involved. Saturday and Sunday are like night and day. I like watching the games cause of the wild swings that happen and the stupid comical crap some of these coaches pull.

I played real small and it's real early in the Season. Redskins (Push) and Eagles (Loss) really chapped my butt. Eagles were up 18 with 6:30 to go and the Skins just needed a couple of first downs + they missed a field goal in OT. Didn't think Schaub could light it up like that. Vick had a great day too tho. I'm up about 5 units for the weekend with tommorrow pending. Didn't even touch MLB today. Was gonna tease all 4 total plays 7 points, but for some reason, I cancelled the bet - guess I didn't feel real good about the unders.

Went 7-8-1 -.7 Units - The only game's I watched was the Vikings and the Cowboys. Caught some of the 9ers on the set at work last night. All 3 are in trouble at 0-2 in my opinion. Favre is showing his age, Cowboys have big problems on their O-line, and the 9ers have shot themselves in the foot 2 weeks in a row. Week 1 was poor communication and last night was 4 turnovers. Gonna play more Teasers and ML parlays next week. Would have had a cash positive week had I done so.

Schaub and the prick stunk it up I have Brady, Schaub and Vick so luckily Brady did well for me, but I still ended up losing because the guy I was playing had 3 monster players.

Very ugly. They took so many penalties and Cutler threw like 3 picks that were called back because of penalties
