Last season I made it to the Championship round of poster "Dexter's" NFL contest. So I did well. I expect to do well again. For the record "cgars1" was the champion :-)

Thanks fellas. That is my girlfriend in the picture. We are at Lake Michigan right on Northerly Island. Very close to where the Bears play.

Note to self: NO Saints/MN Vikings total just sunk to what looks like a bottom at 47.5...one half point off the key total. These lines are sharp as a knife. I see a lot of people slamming that over now, and it sure does look tempting..

Projecting 24-23 Saints with a situational edge on the under and the Saints winning. Hoping I'm not too heavy on the Saints spread, but I actually toned it down from a 3 unit sized bet...

Yes, I think so. Titans are showing good correction, and the will to pull it off. Right now I am considering adding a play on the Steelers and one on the 49ers. What do you guys think?

One of the favorite NFL angles used by Pros in Vegas, is to pick a good team missing its starting quarterback. This has worked well with the Steelers in the past, as they are 4-2 against the spread when Ben Roethlisberger misses a non-Week 17 contest.

Simple reasoning here…the good team missing their star, has talented players that tend to step up their game and give 110% to close the gap. Their opponent, in this case the Falcons figure that beating a team missing a QB of Rothlesberger's status will be simple. The Steelers don’t want to miss the playoffs this year, and know they must be serious out of the gate.

Books profited 50/50 on that game but killed on the under hitting. Note on the under: the line rolled way way down but didn't quite make it to the key number (47)...(went to 47.5). To me that is a pretty good trap. Saw a number of people slamming the over based on how much the line moved.
