I'm a huge Bears fan and I also have them winning 5 games. They do have a pretty tough schedule this year.

Cutler is horrendous.....he reminds me of the typical Green Bay QB before Favre showed up ....

If they only win 5 or 6, Lovie & co will be gone. They won 7 last year with some pretty bad luck. I'm not sure what "your guy" is smoking to only put them at 5 wins. That's a pretty bold statement even for this Bears team. These Bears aren't exactly the Rams or Lions. This is a team that is built to win now, they aren't rebuilding or anything. Your guy must be predicting a ton of injuries or something.

Hard to judge him with the WR corps he has in Chicago.

I have them at 6 wins, went through the schedule earlier this week. The O line is terrible, can't run an offense if you can't block it. A long season ahead.

Being from Chicago, and getting stuck watching all their games. They will win more than 5. Cutler will be fine, He will throw for plenty of yards and be within the top 7, but who knows how many INT's he'll throw. There D should be just dandy also.
I got them at about 8 wins...could be 9 and could be 7. If Cutler and the D play well, they could easily win 10, but I just don't see them under 7 wins.

I kind of agree with 7+ here. Not a great team naturally but 7 games wouldn't be a huge accomplishment.

I'm a season ticket holder for the Packers...so take whatever I say with a grain of salt.
I think the Bears will be around 7 wins this year...and they will be winning 5 of those specifically on the back of their offense. Martz is a big deal, no matter what anyone says. He has always produced as an OC as a whole. I think Forte could be bounce back player of the year...looks much faster this year, allegedly getting that bum leg all healed up. Nonetheless, your QB still throws way too many INTs, and the defense is far from special. Peppers is a great player, but why spend that much money on 1 guy, when your defense could have used 4?? He'll make some plays, but you needed more help than help. This just isn't a team that is set up to contend right now. They are good enough to be fun to watch, as in, any given Sunday they could beat whoever they are playing...but you won't see a consistent team here.
Just my honest opinion.

+1
Martz is a solid offensive mind. He alone makes the offense better!

Bears should be more improved, now that Cutler has one year under that system. I'm not too worry with how aweful they're playing in the preseason.

Chester Taylor will be starting by week 6.
Sorry Bear's fans another disappointing season for you, aging defense, awful receiving core, trigger happy QB. 5 games sounds about right.
