As first reported by CBSSports.com, RB Maurice Jones-Drew has not had surgery and none is necessary, according to coach Jack Del Rio. He said Jones-Drew, who has an occasional balky knee, will not practice this week and won't play Thursday against the Buccaneers. Jones-Drew is expected to be fine for the start of the regular season.
