Chase Daniels was solid against the Texans... Not sure if it because they were running the ball so well with little pressure or if he is that good in a more college style offense

The line is so high because the Titans are NOT playing the Saints. They are playing against a 3rd and 4th string version of the Saints.

The line is so high because Tennessee's 2nd through 4 string are better.

Chase Daniels has looked very good and also #48 running back for the Saints is predicted to be another free agent success for the Saints similar to Pierre Thomas. The Saints will probably be the more aggressive team in this game so the taking the points is the way to play it.

The Colts are a great example of a good football team but very mediocre once you get past the 1st string.

I would guess the Saints are a similar team with great starting players and very weak after that.

You are using regular season football handicapping logic to assess a pre-season game. This is where you have gone awry.

What gives you that impression? So rather than having the kind of depth that earns conference championship spots, its much better to have the depth of teams like the Buccaneers and Dolphins. The Saints are one of the more deep teams in the NFL along with outstanding coaching. If you had to play it, I like the points.
