11 wins for each team I think, probably comes down to tiebreakers for who's division champ and who's wild card
      2011 NFL: 4-0 ATS
2010 NFL: 21-31 ATS (Stopped after Week 12)
      2009 NFL: 55-30-1 ATS
      2008 NFL: 57-36-2 ATS

      Overall: 137-97-3 ATS

I think the saints can win at least 12 and I agree with thegreat30 in that I am not sold on Atlanta. I am also not ready to count out the panthers just yet. Their offense has been nonexistent but both Smith and Stewart have been out. Their defense has really surprised me in their 2 preseason games with how good its been. A healthy panther's team and if Jarrett starts living up to his expectations in anyway they could sneak into 2nd place. But still no chance at the playoffs.

I understand you guys not having much confidence with the Falcons but I must say I am curious as to why. Surely you must consider the offense to be the strong point of this team and one of the better ones in the NFC for that matter. I am assuming that both of you would not trust the defense and if thats the case I was just wondering if even with the acquisition of Dunta Robinson and some injured players returning if you feel the defense won't be able to keep other offenses at bay?

            Saints win 10-13
            Falcons win 9-11

            So, most likely the Saints.

Kroy, I've heard a lot of buzz about the Falcons, but what has you convinced that they're for real?

This is an interesting one. There are a few things that I considered. Many ATL players will be in their 3rd year and that is when a lot of NFLers make the jump to the next level. Turner is healthy and could have a big bounce-back year. The Saints relied heavily on turnovers last year and chances are they won't be as fortunate this year. ATL has been one of the hottest picks, but I think the Saints still edge them out. Also the Saints played really well in big games last year while ATL was pretty horrible.

I agree that this is truly a team that can win 9 or 10 games with a very likely chance at a potential playoff birth. I think that the defense as a whole could cause concern this season but I think your looking at a completely different secondary. When signing a player like Dunta Robinson who is a top 5 NFL cornerback it definitely reshapes a teams secondary. Plus with young talent like Christopher Owens and Chevis Jackson I think this secondary could certainly surprise some people. Not to mention that safety depth is definitely a plus for us.

Defense gains another year under their belt and that secondary has some potential. If the offense can stay healthy and run the ball like they did in '08 they definitely have a shot at the Division. Anything less then a playoff berth this year will be a letdown for me. Me being a huge Falcons fan.

Hey guys my main question is who is this Chris7Mccabe guy kidding? I mean Falcons and Playoffs just don't belong in the same sentence. I mean maybe if they had a legit defensive backfield they could make things interesting. But even if the offense pics up some of the slack the defense is just holding them back. They should have 2 losses, a lucky one against the Saints is keepin them in it. Well thats my opinion idk what ya'll think but id be more interested in watchin a Matty Ice/Natty Ice beer endorsment deal than the lackluster Falcon squad!
