Jets v Giants - Best 2nd and 3rd string Quarterbacks?

2nd stringers are both solid. Kellen Clemons could be a starter on bad teams, Jim Sorgi has always done well backing up Peyton.

3rd stringers are complete unknowns to me. Anybody know anything about Bomar? The Jets could use Brad Smith a lot, and against 2nd/3rd string defenders the mobile QB is dangerous.

One of the big factors in this game is that Rex Ryan has said he intends on leaving in the starters past the 1st Q. He's playing to win this game.

I'm a huge Giants fan and all I can tell you about Rhett Bomar is that he is absolute garbage. Sorgi will definitly be a reliable backup but don't count on Bomar to make any kind of impact

I'll take the Jets for their good defense against the Giants poor defense. They seem to be even on backup QBs, I am not sure.

Giants D will be better than last year. Still won't hold a candle to the Jets, but how much they sucked on the pass rush despite having three monster DEs is insane and won't be repeated.

Not sure I would ever call Sorgi "solid". I don't know what you've been watching but if he played solid please email me the youtube clip so I can see it. I would also take what Rex has to say with a grain of salt. This is the preseason after all.

I think the QB depth favors the Jets pretty easily.

You won't see the Jets defense from last year tonight. No Revis and they will play more vanilla like last preseason, when the allowed at least 23 points in all four games.

I am happy with Giants +3 at -110.
