Cincy vs Denver

I have a hard time not taking Denver here folks. Cincy looked dreadful in their first preseason game, which could just be because it was the first game. But I think their shoddy backup QB play with JT Osullivan and Jordan Palmer will continue, these guys are GARBAGE.

Denver comes in with Brady Quinn as a capable backup. Tebow and Brandstater are the other backups. After watching Cincy's backups its hard to imagine anyone could be worse.

Still trying to decide whether I want to take the spread (+3.5) or ML for +160 ...

I would just take the +3.5 good value in that number.

Yeah I like Denver in this spot too.. maybe a first half play on Cinci and Denver +3.5 for the game.. Sullivan is brutal and Jordan Palmer looks scared back there..

consider that Cincy already has a game under its belt.
That is an advantage. Yet this is their first at home also. Another advantage.
Denver may also be experimenting with some key positions.

first home stand is a comfortable spot for Bengals.
add the fact they have repped a previous game
and i just think they will be more together on it than Denver will.

Denver's backups are pretty awful. Quinn just put himself in the #3 slot with that performance.

wow. I definately gave Quinn some more credit than he is due. It was close at halftime but Cincy just destroyed Denver.... glad I took the ML for a smaller amount than I would have bet the spread. It was worth a shot i guess.
