yards per game is the most overated stat I've ever seen. Last time I checked they didn't list that on the scoreboard. Pitt is most certainly overhyped.

Pittsburgh defense is way too hyped up. Just look at the game last night. True, they had some key stops and that last minute interception for a TD to secure the win, but over all, they are given way too much credit for what they are really worth.

I agree, it is ridiculous.

Come playoff time it'll be made perfectly clear that this defense is very, very overrated. I'm sure most of their supporters will find a way to blame Willie Parker's season ending injury, but with or without him, that defense is overrated, and their offensive line is utterly atrocious.
