Matt Moore has looked good too, but if Moore has a couple of bad games to start the season, I could definitely see John Fox pulling the plug and putting in Clausen. Especially since this is Fox's last year of his contract.

He looked alright, but the announcers seemed to think everything he did was really good.

yea he did fine, that first longer pass down the middle probably should've been intercepted but regardless he was made out to be god..

just like a nd you gotta fade clausen for a while but in time he prob will be a stud

now i want to see tony pike.

Norwood from south car, also was playing good on defense. LAfell not so good.

Dickson from the ravens is also playing great.

This. When you come in with Clausen's audition being the main storyline you can't come back with "well, check back with us in three or four years and we'll tell you how good he really is." Not good for ratings on a meaningless game.

Yeah, he look alright in preseason game #1 against a second team.

I totally believe he was a steal in the draft where the Panthers got him
Unfortunately, that's the only thing the Panthers did this offsetting.

Carolina lost 8 starters to free agency and didn't get anybody.
I'd be a little irked if I was a Panther fan.

But, we might say, someday, that Clausen was the steal of the 2010 draft. The scouts were saying that he was the most "NFL ready" of all the quarterbacks.

I may be inclined to agree with that. Clausen had a rough time in ND which wasn't really in his realm to control in my opinion. Cheers
