I'm a Philly fan, so rooting for New York teams doesn't come naturally to me, but Rex Ryan is awesome. I love the bravado and trash talk, I think it brings excitement to the game. I loved his locker room speech about how all the home favorites won and "the New York f***ing Jets" cameras be damned, players swearing right along with him.

I think his rant would have been perfect if he'd included a comment about how Al Davis is an idiot for overpaying a CB. Maybe something along the lines of "You'd think Darrelle would be glad we don't run things like Oakland does." Revis is right about his ability, but he doesn't have the leverage to dictate his pay with three years left in his contract.

Rex Ryan is the best thing to happen to the Jets since Bill Parcells. Especially now that they are on Hard Knocks. Players around the league are watching this and thinking "Damn, I'd love to play for that guy."

Nerds like Jim Rome and ESPN will have plenty of crap to rip on .
Ryan makes himself a bit of a target to those geeks.

However, he seems like a good coach, and he probably will have a good year.
I think that team is gonna highly depend on Sanchez to not have a sophomore slump.

Agree with most here, Ryan seems to be a bottom line coach-he'll cry, take his shirt off at the hockey game, whatever it takes to get the job done. I like it and he's done well so far. Cheers
