    What about this system?

Take all Dogs of +3 pts or more in week 1 preseason?

    10 games this week...

Seems to make sense, as these games are a crapshoot with so many first stringers playing so little time..

    So far 1-0..

I don't think its wise to lay money on any sides or totals in preseason. You would be wagering on teams dressed in uniform, in a game environment stepping through a controlled practice session with no emphasis on winning the game. just crazy to lay any cash on them. better to play MLB until Sept 9 when the NFL teams are playing for something real.

The only real backetested and successfull wagering angle close to what you are referring to is to wager on all home underdogs in the pre-season. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF "dress Rehersal" WEEK! This angle has shown a win rate of close to 70% for the past 5 seasons.

Concentrate on team specific trends or tendencies. A better chance of success IMO

Taking those dogs makes sense. Maybe play the moneyline.
