didn't believe he was retiring yesterday... coach didn't even know so was hard to believe... hopefully he play so vikings can do it this year, if he plays they got the team to do it

Historically, that opening home game where the SB champs get their banners put up and such is a spot to bet on the champs. For whatever reason (maybe hype and emotion) , it's usually a boat race ....

That being said, if you think Favre is going to play, bet the Vikings now, get your +6 and enjoy a fat middle when the line moves when he's confirmed to play.

Saints are going to put a beat down on the Saints and Tavaris Jackson... no way Favre plays in the opener. He won't be ready. If he does play he will rusty as hell. I predict Brett Favre plays this year but not in the 1st game , he may take a few games off at the beginning of the season to get his ankle right. He won't pass up on 20 million though. He will be back. Just don't expect the Vikings to win this game. Honestly I think the Saints win this game by 10 points or more.

You guys do realize this game is to be played in 1 month.... is Favre really going to be ready to go on the road in the NFL's most hostile enviorment and preform at the top of his game at 42 or however old he is? If he is able to pull off a victory September 9th this man is amazing!
