Here is where I feel the need to step in and relay my 2 cents Roch. As I stated in my post before the pre-season kicked off if you know and understand how to handicap the NFL pre-season it is a great way to build your roll for the regular season. It looks like you have done well so far 2 weeks into the pre-season.....week #3 is approaching and now I see you are making a statement that you are willing to risk 75% of your profits you have made thus far on a single game in week #4? I have read before that you do not wager cash on your plays but rather you wager SBR points. What you should realize is some of the people that read and follow your thread do risk cash.

Here is my point. There are several qualities that make a good handicapper one of which is understanding good money management. Honestly it is hard to respect and trust someone who will work for a few weeks trying to build a good foundation and structure for the upcomming NFL season and put it on the line with a single week #4 pre-season game.

Dont take it personal, I didnt mean it that way by no means. I was just curious as to why you stated what you did and the thought process behind it. I really shouldnt have used the word trusted but it would be devastating if you made a profit during the pre-season and gave it all back with one play thats all. I have never tried that before but good luck to you.

I agree that good money management is important. Staying relatively disciplined takes a lot of self-control in an otherwise impulsive world of gambling.

At the same time, I don't think the onus is on Roch to be careful about his advice. This is a forum, not a paid service. If people want to wager on his bets that their choice 100%. If he thinks a particular game is a strong play and wants to wager more on it, he'll either pay the consequences or reap the rewards. For his pick he said it was 1.5 units, I don't think he was suggesting other people to wager 75% of their profits.

Most of us are just offering up our own insights and opinions, not gospel.

You are incorrect Bobby. The post is quoted above. Its neither here no there. Obviously he can do what he wants and I wish him good luck this season. You have to have thick skin in this buisness and not take everything to heart. Was just providing my opinion and did not intend to come accross in a bad way.
