Top 10 NFL Teams To Watch
Hey guys, I'm writing an article for the top ten nfl teams coming up this season and looking for different ideas. Chime in if you want to suggest a team and why you think they're great. For example, "Green Bay is going to be excellent because Rodgers is a great QB and the team has a lot to prove for their fans..." Cheers

If you are looking for something other than the obvious, i.e. Indy, New England, New Orleans, Green Bay, Minny, etc, take a long hard look at the Atlanta Falcons. They are my pick to win the NFC South and go deep in the playoffs.

Jets seem to be peaking a lot of interest this year...

San Francisco should be fun to watch this year if Alex Smith can grow up quickly. After finally getting the starting job, he looks to distribute to a talented core consisting of Frank Gore, Michael Crabtree, Vernon Davis and Ted Ginn Jr. while Patrick Willis looks to anchor an improved defense.

Agree mlb and SF was an 8-8 team last year that could've been 12-4 very easily and with a solid draft I look for them to be the top dogs in the NFC west this season.

                    Here's the straight chalk answer:

                    10. Steelers, should still be a top team despite Ben's suspension.
                    9. Packers, up and coming fan favorite.
                    8. Ravens, have a great track record in recent years.
                    7. Cowboys, stacked with talent & showing it late last year.
                    6. Patriots, year in and year out always a top team.
                    5. Chargers, a savvy team with a free playoff pass out of a weak division.
                    4. Jets, making a big push this offseason and a proven track record.
                    3. Vikings, huge potential if they can keep improving.
                    2. Colts, year in and year out they are in the mix.
                    1. Saints, they are the champs until they are dethroned.

But there's more betting value in the next tier: Texans, Titans, Jags, 49ers, Giants, Redskins, Falcons, Bengals, Bears, Eagles.

Interesting-I don't really have a fave team but SANF should be good-I just wonder about the holdout deal with Crabtree-if if will affect the team, etc. Definitely like NYJ, think Sanchize made his mark early on and will continue to grow with a great team. I know I'm living in the past (kind of) but that botched field goal will forever be associated with Romo for me, plus that and living the high life during the playoffs. Anyways, as long as everyone loves a team that's the fun-back to writing this gig I go. Cheers all

Denver. No one believes in then but mcd is bringing a system that works and us designed to win he didn't accept mediocracy and purged the players that weren't buying into a team first winning attitude that brings home championships

People are scared off by how they finished the season 2-8 after their bye week. Plus they gave up their best player.

The Jets and Ravens are trendy picks that I'm definitely on board with.

Oakland, Philadelphia, and NY Giants will outperform expectations, imo.

Cincy and the Saints will still be good even though everyone seems to be writing them off. I guess ppl are butthurt over their bets against the Bengals in the regular season and fading the Saints all the way through the SB. No other explanation I can think of for the Colts to be at the top of the futures board.
Walter forgot... when you're desperate's when you got no choice.

here is my opinion on top 10 teams to watch and why !

10.RAVENS- now that flacco has a boldin it should be intresting to watch. and i expect ray rice to emerge as top 5 rb this season!

9.TEXANS- i expect them to improve in upcoming season and make run in playoffs . plus any team with andre johnson should always make top 10 to watch . he is simply amazing.

                                            8.PATRIOTS- brady to moss..need i say more?

7.COWGIRLS- as much as i hate them they are stacked with talented players . austin really proving himself last year . i predict he follows up with a even better season this year.

6.CHARGERS- now with LT gone sproles has chance to show out. should be a intresting season.

5.REDSKINS- despite all the drama with that fat FU** at DT , i think mcnabb is a great aquire for them and they will strive.

4.JETS- huge offseason for a already good team . watch for them deep in playoffs!

3.COLTS- as long as number 18 is QB , always a good watch. he always finds ways to win.

2.VIKINGS- with or without brett farve. if he is there i dont need to explain why to wacth. but if he isnt then i will watch just to see how there going to do.

1.SAINTS-Defending world champs with something to prove

                                              ravens.

Texans but i doubt they got too much better, for the last 3 years everyone has expected them to burst, it just hasnt happenes

Who expected the Texans to burst 3 years ago? I'd love to know. Better yet, link to a major news article. 3 years ago, they were coming off 2-14 and then 6-10 with a new coach. Nobody was expecting playoffs or anything major from the Texans at that point.

I've been picking the Texans the last couple years and they've steadily improved to one of the best offenses in the leauge with a defense that is emerging. This is a young team headed in the right direction. If someone has a legitimate reason why they cannot be expected to contend this year or a knock on how they finished last year, I'd love to hear it.

2 months ago I would have told you the Chargers will be great because of their prolific offense, but since it's looking like they will be without their pro bowl LT Marcus Mcneill, and their pro bowl WR Vincent Jackson, I really don't know what to think. The Packers will be the team to beat in the NFC, and the Ravens will be the team to beat in the AFC. The end.

Sproles will have the same role as he did last year. The Chargers drafted a RB in the first round to come in and start for them immediately
