#1417 plays sounds good to me buddy! As long as you're hittin 82% on them don't change a thing & you'll be a winner come the end of the season. Being a winner is something 82% of the NFL bettors CAN'T say they did!
Most you guys here on the forum know me, I will have a thread for NFL & NCAA for those who are interested. I make a limited amount of plays, no outrageous units, no outrageous claims. Football is a grind like everything else, but I have a few systems & get some good info on games & will share with everyone & we will all make some money this season. I can't waitComment -

#22Well for one NFL is the only sport I follow extremely closely, Fantasy football kind of forced me into that back in the day and then I started applying knowledge towards betting. When I started in 2008 I was motivated by another capper who often wrote about a program he built to predict NFL results that hit at an astounding rate. So I started doing all kinds of crazy equations and stat tracking in an excel sheet and eventually came up with something that has hit pretty consistently, about 60% on plays it determined there was value in. The problem with it is that it takes many weeks to accumulate enough stats and it's pretty much worthless to me until Week 8. So last year I broke away from the system a bit and tried to do the capping mostly myself. The first few weeks of the season were successful just due to familiarity with the teams from the last season and finding opportunities due to who was hot or cold in the preseason. From there, I still had my excel sheet where I tracked a variety of stats, most importantly yards per pass attempt, yards per rush attempt, and scoring efficiency and looked to see how teams matched up with each other from week to week. I factored in injuries to try and see where there would be advantages/disadvantages and just kind of hit my stride. Mostly I just attribute my success to knowing each team and who succeeds in what situations. If I can ever figure out a way to explain my method better I'll be sure to let you know hahaOriginally posted by RigR u serious??! Dude that's excellent how do youcap the games?2011 NFL: 4-0 ATS

#26Preseason? You mean the four games no one cares about before Week 1 hits? Some guys like Farve don't roll into camp until Week 1 of the preseason. Guys like Rivers, Farve, Manning and Brady maybe get 3 quarters of action during those 4 games. Schottehiemer played LaDanian ZERO snaps one preseason a few years back for the Bolts.Originally posted by kroyrunner89The first few weeks of the season were successful just due to familiarity with the teams from the last season and finding opportunities due to who was hot or cold in the preseason.Comment -

#29In some cases yeah, preseason action is meaningless and you should just throw out what you see. There are definitely teams you can learn a lot about by watching closely though. It's probably about a 50/50 split, but I'm 10-1 in Week 1 over the last two seasons and that's no accident.Originally posted by ronjon619Preseason? #30Kroy, i remember seeing some of your threads in the football section last year and during the playoffs. I liked checking out your picks and your write ups as well and i think you are a solid capper here. I dont think many people know much about you because you didnt keep a season long thread and some of your picks were posted a little late. Maybe this year you can keep a documented season threadOriginally posted by kroyrunner89In some cases yeah, preseason action is meaningless and you should just throw out what you see. #35you're right, i was a little late on this forum a couple of times, I had the habit of making people on my mailing list the priority and then forgetting about the forums sometimes. I'll definitely try to do better about that this year and possibly make a season long thread if that's easier for everyone to follow rather than make a new one each weekOriginally posted by jnickell100Kroy, i remember seeing some of your threads in the football section last year and during the playoffs.
