    Testaverde-IN this week
Just came across the wires and it's official fellas.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- For the past several weeks, Carolina Panthers coach John Fox has been careful not to name a front-runner at quarterback between Vinny Testaverde and David Carr.

On Wednesday, Fox made it clear: He's going with the 44-year-old

He may be in good shape, and still able to make some good plays, but doesn't he want to retire with a little bit of class? Instead of waiting until he's too old to do it anymore, c'mon 44 years old? I hope Favre doesn't end up like that.

I've been watching the testicle play it forever it seems, being that I grew up in Miami, when he was at the U. He has always sucked as a pro and really only had one good season. Now that he is collecting Social Security, he has changed his image from being a suckwad quarter back to a iron man quarter back who can come off the couch and play.

It speaks volumes about what the Panthers think of Carr. He's healthy and they still go with Vinny. Amazing.

Was it just me, or did anybody else who watched the Packers/Panthers game last week think that when Brett threw the ball it looked like Josh Beckett and when Vinny threw it, it looked like Tim Wakefield?!?!
