How good are you at picking your own team..

Since you know your favorite team so well, how well do you do ATS with them. Im having a 54% this seasons on teams that dont include my 2 favorite teams.
Im having great years with:
Cowboys (7-1; out of town one week. Missed the Vikings game.) and
A&M (6-2; Missed Miami and Mizzou).

This probably depends on how good your favourite team is. I'm guessing those who follow underachieving or bad teams would do pretty poorly, while those following overachieving or good teams would do fairly well.

My favorite team? Whoever covered for me lately.
I doubt that many serious, big money gamblers ( I am not one, by the way) have favorite teams. They might only care who wins a game they don't have a bet on if will affect a line for a game they like in the future.

As far as the teams I root for (as a fan), I'm usually no better at picking them to win/lose ATS than any other team
