Would someone around that area or who follows that team closely please tell me what the buzz is around Marty's decision to play Brees. I mean Drew nearly got killed and now he's on the shelf for at least the next 18 weeks.

I agree. Brees is a top 5 quarterback in the league. Unless they feel the injury will KO his career, switching to Rivers would be a disaster. That team is ready to return to the playoffs next season with a better schedule, which they'll get by finishing 3rd in the their division. These high drafted rookies mean nothing. Look at all the busts. Joey Harrington, Achili Smith, and on and on.Comment
