    mgcolby,
you must not know the reputation of Dungy when he was a D-cord. He has always taught the D-Line to play dirty and low. It is a fact. Did you see the Jag game when they took about Garrard. He has a history of this in the League and they all know it.

I've never heard that about Dungy, but I know Teerlinck(sp?) is known for that.

I still think they would be foolish to do it. Especially in light of all the media instigation on this subject, IMO.

Colts +7 at home - If this line was 6 or less, I would be hard pressed; but SOAB!! The Colts haven't lost a game in 10 years or so The Patriots look amazing and could win this game by a couple of scores, but there isn't any way that I can go against Manning with a 7 point cushion in Indy, it just wouldn't be right.

          New England Patriots D(3) RD(5) PD(5)

Two high powered teams that are meeting strong defenses. Throw out the stats, this game is a preview of the AFC championship. Who has the larger chip on their shoulder? Who wants this game more? Who wants Home Field Advantage? Belichick has the anger: the spited fury. Dungy has the class and the karma, calm under the storm. Brady v. Manning. Sanders v. Moss. Good Foundations v. Evil Genius.

Looks like a lot of sharp opinions on IND with IND keeping the game close. NE at -4.5 was a line that disappeared early in the week. While the public is on NE's side, until a team proves NE is not what we (and they) think they are, I am going to keep crowning their ass. Minimal value at -6 or more.

          ----------------------

          Play:
          NE (-4.5): 1 unit.
          NE(-6): 0.5 unit.

Tackling the legs is actually fundamentally better!

The Colts tackle low and they're taught that way! Their D is undersized and built for speed...they can't get away with tackling high! Not to mention if you come in high...then you can't get leverage. Look at Cato June last year...he kept trying to head hunt and was a big part of all their rush defense problems last year! San Fran and Denver put together 6 Super Bowls by cut blocking with smaller lineman. It's part of the game! If oh by the way....Brady or Moss gets a rolled ankle or fracture...you won't see any tears from me!

That is pathetic..but you do root for the "classier" team.

As much as I despise the Colts I would never wish or celebrate an injury to one of their players.

I said the Colts are classy...never said I was! Moss or Rodney Harrison are really the only two I would like to see get "Daryl Stingley'd"

You are right, you don't have any class. What a dumbass thing to say.

Just pulling your chain...relax!! I hope its a good game but if the bad guys win then I still have my handicapping. I'm having a very nice year! If someone did get hurt on the Pats, you won't see the open cheering like Philly fan did when Michael Irvin went down! The east coast pretty much dominates in rude, obnoxious behavior! I went to the Pats/Bears game in Foxboro last year with a friend from Rhode Island and I couldn't believe all the cussing and threats just trying to get thru the traffic jam after the game! Lets just say your team is a good representation of your people. I did vote for John Kerry if that makes you feel better!
