All those low profile games we cap during the year are what prepares us to make decisions like these. If I really had no opinion I would pass, but I have a pretty strong opinion about this one. Can't roll with Colts here.

line seems to have settled (for now) at 4.5 .. pinnacles taking 20k bets already (vs 5k for the other games)

i'd be shocked if anyone tried to tell me the colts were not the 2nd best team in the league. that line suggests the pats are 7.5 pts better than the 2nd best team in the league.

that's ridiculous imo, and the stats back it up. after adjusting for the level of their opposition, i only give the slightest advantage to the pats here, after adding home field, the colts should be the favorite here. This team is better than last years super bowl champ by a decent margin.

Bet N.E. until they prove they cannot cover. How much more simplistic can that be? There was good story on this game somewhere probably ESP-Not Entertaining ... PATS have been chomping at the bit since being ousted by the Colts last season in the playoffs. They'll show up and make the statement that they are the team to beat this season.

Pico, Pats have real wideouts this year( 3 of them), unlike the AFC game last year. Now that LM is back the pats will be able to run the ball. The guy is underated big time. He was running rampant through a good Skins D yesterday. If they actually gave him the rock 20 times a game who knows what he could do.

I am leaning toward the Colts because their defense has improved since last season and they did a good job of keeping up with them on the scoreboard last January, this game should be shootout and should be up in the 30's, I say who turns the ball over the most loses this one, turnovers will make the difference in this game without a doubt, these are the two best teams in the NFL this season and it should be a great game.

I think the Colts are scared. They have been trying to ignore this upcoming game for weeks by not entertaining any conversation. I can't bet against the Patriots until they give a reason to. I made the Patriots a 3 point fave before the line came out and I'm sticking to it for now.
