    Patriots Faders - What Now?
I love how everyone who fades the Pats is a genius making an ultra sharp play, and anyone who plays them is a tight ass square. There's light at the end of the tunnel for you guys, it's not too late to get out of the hole and jump alongside on the Patriots bandwagon next week against the Boys. My advice is you stop worrying about the public, focus on the game at hand and recognize this team is not overrated.

I'll agree it was an odd finish, but there's a larger point to be made here. I don't think blindly fading the Patriots for any reason, including a ridiculously high spread at HOME, can be a genuine 'sharp' play right now. I'm not saying you have to bet them, but be careful in how you bet against them because the odds are most certainly against you. The ideal "oh the public is backing them in mass" fade every single week is a recipe for disaster.

Browns qb kept throwing int , worked out for pats , anything anyone can say now doesnt mean the Brown qb could not have performed great , if he rocks then what ? He sucked so then there is this kind of talk .

Shut your mouth and speak when they beat a team with more than 1 W.

I don't think your going to see to many QBs perform great this year against NE's D. They have a very complex D that forces many ill timed throws and are very opportunistic when it comes to int's. So in that regard, "Did the QB have a lousey day and throw 3 picks"? or did NE force him into bad decisions and turnovers? Just a thought.

You can't really make across the board statements like backing or fading NE from now on. You have to look at it from week to week.

For week 5 I still think that fading the Pats was the sharper play. The sharp play wins most of the time, but not all the time. The way the Pats covered only underlines that point. Pats backers lucked out. Luck is part of the game, so good for them.
