I completely agree with you, at least for the upcoming season. The Steelers would not have participated in the 2 Super bowls let alone win them without Ben.
Ben is a winner and will win where ever he goes. I also don't expect to hear anymore of these types of allegations recently publizied about Ben. He will do the right thing for himself!!! The Steelers are not as strong without Holmes either.They will survive that move this year.If they give up on Ben, it will take awhile to recoup under our current coach. For him, Ben was the best thing that ever happened.

Steelers picked up Byron Leftwich, so I dont think they have any interest in Alex Smith.

Maybe so, but Byron is made of glass. Alex Smith would be a nice pickup, they could compete for the starting job. He's a former #1 pick.
