I take you haven't watched Ted Ginn play in the NFL if you believe that. The guy is a great returner and nothing else. He has terrible hands, effectively making him overpaid. If you're dwelling on where the guy was drafted 2 or 3 years ago, then you're dealing with flawed logic. Ginn's a bust.

Its like 2dabank/DwightShrute are the only person on this site who knows anything about football... or at least the Fins. Why are people actually calling this a good move by SF? WTF are you smoking. Did you watch this guy the past two years?? Look at what they have won. Good riddance to a bad receiver.

So now they have one WR who will be double teamed the entire season, and no one to throw him the ball. Brilliant moves by Parcels.
bess is a good wr and now with marshall he'll be better, plus the other wr will benefit from the double team on marshall

Ted Ginn is the biggest 1st round WR bust I have ever seen. SF is picking up an overpriced kick returner who will not be the number 1 reciever he willl be the slot reciever. THis means more than likely he will be in on 2nd and 3rd downs for the most part. This wiil kill the SF offense becuae even if he is open down the field by 30 yards and the ball is delivered right into his hands he will drop the ball. He single handley lost many games for the fins last year and it was a blessing to hear that they got ride of him. Even though it is for a 5th round pick the value is what it is. SF will be hurt if they play him on offense keep this bastard on special teams he has the skills of a good return man and thats it.

Yes, Ted Ginn is a bust, but he has the potential to change a game with a kick return or long catch, so I'm sure you could do worse for a 5th rounder.

HAHA loled so hard at this video! I didn't see a lot of Miami games so I wasn't sure if 'fins fans were just mad over a couple big drops but apparently this guy is atrocious! Maybe Singletary might scare him into concentrating?

Obviously Tenn Ginn Jr wouldn't use that video as part of his resume when looking for work in the NFL. It does reiterate why we aren't shedding any tears seeing him go.

I am sure he is a nice guy and most likely was shocked to get drafter so high when he did. Doubt that Parcells would have picked him so high. The expectations where perhaps set unfairly high because of his high pick in the draft. Perhaps he will be one of the few that just simply needed a change of scenery to be the player that everyone expects but that is highly unlikely.

The fact is simple, he couldn't catch the ball in Miami and was a huge disappointment. Keeping a roster spot open for him would be denying someone (else that could actually catch) a job.

Ginn Jr will likely play sparingly for the 49ers after they lose confidence in his catching ability. Perhaps he will be a good punt returner for them.

With Marshall in the line up. we have aguably the best WR in football in his prime.

I'm a Niner fan and I'll be the first to say that the 49ers still haven't addressed their main problem correctly. We have no QB!!! I've had enough of the Alex Smith kool aid and fukk David Carr.

Yeah Ginn is cool, especially paired with Crabtree, but how many times have we seen super talented WR's get frustrated because of the QB.

I truly believe the West is there for the 49ers to lose. The Division is garbage. Alex "small hands" Smith may be the best QB in the division? Sad.

I think he is a little too much flash and dash and not enough gash/power/strength over the middle
