yeah i'm on SF and was concerned when this happened, but to be honest, this isn't a big deal for SF. dilfer is proven and won't make dumb mistakes. i guess smith has a bigger upside, but overall, i dont think this hurts SF much for this game

offensive line messed up and a 300+ lb dude came through untouched and pancaked alex smith...it appeared as though he fell on his arm/shoulder...no word on his status

Ah okay. I'm watching INDY right now (-10, big play of the week), so I didn't know what was happening. I saw Gore has two fumbles...that is problematic to say the least. How is the SF defense looking?

the way smith has played so far this year this might be an upgrade for the niners O.

I watched dilfer take b'more to a championship, and he did well as long as he didn't need to win the game for them. Hopefully he plays consistantly, and gore/WRs and their defense can step up.
