dude I do not want to be too harsh on you here but Griese aint that much better than Grossman. Griese sucked when he played for denver 5 years why would he be good now. Look how bad Grossman is and you are telling me that the man backing up Rex Grossman is a stud. The Bears don't have a quarterback plain and simple.

Griese made the pro bowl one year, has a llife time 63% comp and I watched every single preseason game of the Bears the last two years. Don't believe that crap the announcers spewed Sunday night. There's a world of difference between the two.

Griese has a 3.4% interception rate in his career compared to a 4.2% for Grossman.

At -6 in turnover margin so far, the bears should be much better with less turnovers. They still have the best special teams in the league. Harris is out for a while though, that won't help on D.

There's a # of angles going against the bears this week and some for detroit.

Yeah...that J.Kitna savior/hero feel good Week 2 story got beat down real quick after the Birds punched em' in the mouth. Game over before the half.

There are too many unknowns with both these teams. Now you have injuries to the Bears D. Can't bet either one of these teams, not this week.

Switching QB's may jump start the Bears mentally. Maybe guys on the team, after the Superbowl loss, feel they can't win with Rex. I'm just speculating, it's impossible for us to know what goes on in the locker room. Does some tension over Rex exist....probably.

Aside from that, seems like a small boost in offense. We saw they Bears win with minimal offense in the past....but how long can/could that go on for?

great points. Last week when they asked Tommy Harris if he had confidence in Grossman, he said "yes, I have to". But by his voice and tone you could tell he obviously didn't have faith in Rex.

Raiders, you can almost see it on the Bears faces. I assume it's just like a regular job in some aspects. Where someone at work isn't pulling their weight and other people have to pick up the slack. Tension and gossip eventually build against the slacker. Ego maniac athletes must be much worse. No doubt though it can create an unpleasant atmosphere to be in.

The question is.......how long can the Bears D hold up? As with all things, this too shall pass. With these injuries...can they afford not to score?

Thats right, they lost 3 guys on defense last night. Still, this is a custom made azz whopping set-up for the bears. They probably win by 10 with Gross-man, now its by 21.
