Will Tim Tebow be drafted in the first or second round? Or not at all?! Who will take him? What role can he play?

Ex Buffalo Bill Jim Kelly loves Tim Tebow and he is in Ralph Wilsons ear, and he very much respects Jims opinion dont be surprised if the Bills take him in the 2nd round if available. Tebow also worked out for the Bills this week

Jacksonville does not have a 2nd round draft pick. Buffalo in the 2nd round looks like the pick. Tebow will just love playing in Buffalo in December.

Assuming no changes in draft position(which won't happen), I would say early 2nd round. While smart money says he would go to Buffalo, Washington, or Cleveland, I'll give an outside the box scenario.
Oakland Raiders draft him with 7th pick in 2nd round (ahead of Buffalo) and finish at least 8-8 or better with Tebow as starting Qb. If Oakland doesn't win the AFC west, Crazy Al hires Jon Gruden the following season. Gruden loves Tebow and had success for Davis before. Tebow would have a chance to develop while helping Raiders succeed. You heard it here first.

That is about as far out of the box as you can get. Davis would NEVER hire Gruden. That would be admitting defeat, and Davis will NEVER do that. Davis would never draft Tebow because Tebow does not have the ability to throw the long ball, and according to Al Davis, that is what an offense is built around.
Now whether Buffalo takes Tebow with their 2nd round depends on the McChoke situation. Does Buffalo go with the proven starter, to try and get to the playoffs next season, or do they save the choice and look ahead to the future? Tough decision, but if it were me, I would take Tebow, and look ahead. The Jets are improving, and New England still has enough horses to be the overwhelming favorite in the AFC East in 2010. Either Washington or Cleveland will end up with Clausen, so the other may go for Tebow with their choice in the 2nd round.

evryone seems to think he is going to the jags but few realize the jags do not have a second round pick. There is no way they take him at 10, if clauson falls to 10 perhaps they trade down to get a 2 and then take tebow with that but the chances are slim

I think the pats will take him in the 2nd round. There is a very very slim chance the jaguars take him. It doesn't just take a person coming to Jax to get the seats filled. It takes winning. If the jags draft tebow they will be complaining around week 6 that he isn't playing. If the jags draft smart and start winning the seats will be filled

I think the PATRIOTS may take him in the second round. St. Louis will take Sam Bradford. Washington will have Donovan McNabb. The Buffalo BILLS will get Jimmy Clausen. Tebow's best fit is on a team with an established veteran quarterback and respected coaching staff willing to give him a few years to develop as a pro-style passer while also finding a way to get him on the field immediately. Jax has to do something to sell tickets. Their games were blacked out from local tv last year due to poor ticket sales. If that continues, Jax will move the franchise.

Not true what so ever if he gets on a team who's QB staff specializes in fundamentals he will become one of the best for the simple fact of his pure determination

You might be right here, especially if the draft is as deep as people say. Can I change my prediction?

Colts, Vikings, or Patriots are going to draft him in the first round. It only makes sense as Tebow is one of the luckiest guys around He deserves it though, he's a class act. Vikings is a huge sleeper as no one is talking about them at all. Who is going to be their QB next year? and they have Percy Harvin also, former Gator.

I will bet my left testicle he will go in the 1st round. I also believe any team that gets him is getting a winner. Plain and simple a winner! I dont care about his motion or any of that "McShay" talk. The guy lays it all on the line every game and rallies his team behind him. 1st round and I will even bet he goes alot higher than most people would even project him to go in the 1st. Did anyone see that John Gruden special on ESPN? He said he will "screw 31 teams". I wish the Jags could make it happen but I think they will do something stupid like usual.

You make some good points. I'm coming around to this way of thinking, wasn't at first. That 39 inch standing vertical at combine opened my eyes. For someone who a lot of people think won't go in 1st round, there sure is a lot of talk about him.

Browns at #38, Bills at #41, Patriots at #44 or#47, or Panthers at #48. Best fit is probably Patriots where there will be no pressure to play anytime soon and he can be groomed by one the best to ever do it in Brady. I would hate to see the kid go to a team with no established QB and be forced into action too early.
