Rolling with the week 1 stars
This theory has been around since Moby Dick was a minnow. It was 5-1 the last 2 years. Its as square of a trend as you could think of but it does have some followers. Btw, works in almost every sport.

Basically take the 3 largest point winners from week 1 and bet them blindly in week two. The theory is the oddsmakers do not adjust enough until they see back to back performances of teams at the start of a season.

    Colts
    Pitt
    Pats

Nice strategy ! I would pick my best 1 of the 3 for a solid hit . It could go 3 - 0 but more realistic result would be 2 - 1.The the way I see it only 1 is good since I like the underrated titans and the overrated chargers . <> <> <>

          BBD:

With all due respect, I personally find this strategy flawed, especially early in the season.

I don't think a team that gets beat goes home and says:
"lets play the exact same way as we did last week and hope for a different result".

I believe that these teams will make changes to avoid a similar result. I think today's results back this up.

          Personally I was 1-0-1 (had Tennessee +7 & Detroit -3)
          and HATE laying points!

Yes, he seems to be happy to win $100 because it's real money, unlike the imagined money he pretends to bet on heavy chalk M/L parlays that lose.

Yes the "Lock King" won $100, I'd believe that before I believe he wagers 3K & 5K on parlays. I guess there are some on this forum who believe his stories, not me, not for a nanosecond.

yeah wouldnt that corrupt the minds of honest people on here really wagering real money . You come on here and see the 3000$ post by bradley and may lay off of the teams he has because you see he has it for 3000 grand . So you just sit back and watch to see if the person will make a bunch of $ that day . ::::::::::::::::::: I would turn that 3 grand HE POSTS into 30 grand no prob , is not chump change .

Most guys (if they are sharp) wouldn't give his posts a second thought. Who in their right mind would bet a parlay for that kind of dough, lose, and come right back with another big chalk big $$ wager that also loses?

It doesn't make sense, and is not believable, it's fiction.

I'm sure he'll soon be posting his reply here in CAPITAL LETTERS, swearing his little head off and telling us how much he has made if we had kept track -we'd see.

He is in dreamland, it's time to wake up.

The main character would have to have some goofy friends like on Martin , the guy upstairs that comes through the window and bradley hollers thigbone , thigbone , you take them drays for 2 grand last night like I told you boyyy , ah hhyeahh you know I am da man niggaaaa . hahahahaha
