I didn't post any plays for Week 1 so here are my plays for Week 2. Best of luck to everyone and let's GitRDone!
ATS
New Orleans -3
The Saints have had a few extra days to prepare for Tampa Bay and are hungry to take out their frustrations from the Colts game out on the Bucs. Look for Brees and Bush to have big games for the Saints.
Minnesota +3
Adrian Peterson will have a field day versus a porous Lions defense. The Vikings defense will pick off Kitna atleast twice and will keep the Lions offense under wraps. Vikings win this game outright.
Chicago -12
Last year Rex Grossman had a big game after a subpar game and look for that trend to continue versus the Chiefs. Bears defense will hold a poor KC offense in check and don't be surprised to see the Bears score a TD via the defense and/or special teams. Bears win big.
San Diego +3.5
Look for LT to run wild through the Patriots defense and avenge the loss to the Patriots in last years playoffs. The Patriots had a lot of turmoil this week and look for it to carry over into Sunday's game and I wouldn't be surprised to see them down a couple of TD's early. Chargers win this game outright.
Philadelphia -6.5
Donovan McNabb will rebound from a poor Week 1 game and put up huge numbers versus the Redskins on Monday Night Football. I am not convinced Jason Campbell will be able to keep up with McNabb and the Eagles and I see Philly winning this game by double digits.
TOTALS
Cincy/Cleveland over 41.5
This game should provide a lot of points as the Browns defense showed in Week 1 that they have a lot of holes, especially in the secondary. I actually like Derek Anderson at QB for the Browns because he has a better arm and will take more chances throwing downfield than Charlie Frye did/would. I'm not convinced the Bengals defense can stop people from putting up points, they take way too many chances in turn will eventually haunt them further down the road. This game has the potential to go over by halftime and I expect the 2 teams to combine for atleast 30 points by halftime.
San Francisco/St. Louis over 44
The Rams defense last week proved that they are going to have a tough time stopping opposing offenses so they will once again have to rely on a lot of points from their offense if they hope to win. Steven Jackson should be able to run wild on a 49ers defense that gave up a lot of big plays to Edgerrin James last week. Likewise, Frank Gore has to be licking his chops after what the Carolina RB's were able to do versus the Rams last week. Alex Smith should be in more sync this week and I see no reason why this game doesn't go over.
Kansas City/Chicago over 34.5
If you read my post above about the Bears game, I fully expect them to score 30+ in this game and wouldn't be surprised to see them take this game over by themselves. The Chiefs should be good for 7-10 so I am liking this over. Grossman has a big day and the Bears put up 31 themselves in this one.
San Diego/New England over 46.5
This should be an entertaining, high scoring affair between 2 great offenses. LT for the Chargers will have a huge game and Brady will keep his Pats in the game. You'll see a lot more TD's than FG's in this game. I see it going over by the start of the 4th quarter.
Washington/Philadelphia over 38.5
Reference my statement about regarding McNabb and his huge game he is going to have versus the Redskins. The Redskins should be able to put 17 on the board and I think the Eagles will top 30 points. McNabb shines on MNF and this game flies over the total.
