Browns release Derek Anderson

Surprising.

Holmgren selected Brady Quinn as his guy.

How far has Derek Anderson fallen? He was in the Pro Bowl in 2007, and he guy looked really promising just a few seasons back. To his credit, he didn't have anyone to throw to, and I would bet he is going to get a job as a backup easily.

it was really a choice between a shitty qb (Quinn) and an even shittier qb (Anderson), its lose-lose for the browns
