At least you're not being a nut and putting it all on the ML. I'll root for you since I have no financial interest in the game, but I kinda think you're gonna lose here.

I feel like Colts too but I'm taking a pass here. Better games over the weekend.
Edit : Okay the line movement gave me some balls. Go Indy -5.5 +104.

JJ you should take $250 and parlay Saints + 6 1/2 with your 2 best college bets Sat. With your 3 team parlay victory of$1750 you should split it into 2 and bet 2 NFL games Sunday straight. If you split those 2 games, keep trying to play 2 games until you get a decision (2-0 or 0-2). That's about 3 dimes if you win, isn't it? If you lose, you still got a dozen more cracks at it until you blow your $3300.

Doesn't the previous year's Super Bowl winner typically underperform vs. the spread?
Lines are inflated, opposing teams are ultra motivated, and Super Bowl winners may be a little complacent.
Anyone have stats to support or refute this?

Artie some good advice there but I need to get up on top of my store early in the year so I can take shots at him.

I tend to think along those lines myself. I do not have any stats to back it up though.

I believe his imaginary bank account has an unlimited amount of imaginary dollars, to make imaginary wagers with.
Personally, if I had his imaginary bankroll, I'd be betting more than 3 dimes a game.

Thanks Skankdog.
Have to agree with your Saints analysis, Brees and Reggie looked horrendous out there. Indy were good though, bad start to my year!

I ended up taking the 2nd half OVER 24.5. Needless to say I enjoyed that pick 6 at the end of the game.
