Do the Bears KNOW what they need?

Last year the Bears give away 2 #1 draft picks PLUS a WINNING QB for a .500 QB.

This year the Bears give $91 million ($40 million GUARANTEED) to a very good football player (Peppers)( ALOT OF MONEY for 1 player), give $12 million to Chester Taylor (good running back, but the Bears already have a good running back in Matt Forte).
Bears should have taken that money and invested it in their offensive line. Cutler can not complete anything without time and Forte can not gain a yard, unless there is an opening.

Boy it is tough being a Bear fan.

I have no problem with the Bears getting Peppers. Their defensive failures are the reasons why the Bears have gone no place in the past few years. They do need offensive line help, but the defense had to come first.

Matt Forte definitely needs someone to help shoulder the load in the backfield. Yes, their line was pretty bad but it was noticeable that he lost a half step from his stellar rookie campaign. 3.6 yds per carry ain't gonna get it done
