#3I don't think the Bears go anywhere this year. Maybe 8-8. They'll benefit from playing the Lions, Packers, and Vikes twice each, but I think they'll be exposed as a one-dimensional team this season.
I like Chargers over the Cowboys to be honest. And I hate the Cowboys. I just think they roll through the NFC East. The only other NFC team I could get behind would be New Orleans. It's just such an inferior conference... TB, STL, CAR, SEA, AZ, SF, ATL, GB, NYG, DET, MINNY, WASH are all teams I would rule out already. CHI and Philly would need everything to play out perfectly for them. In Chicago's case, Benson would need to be an uber-stud and their D would have to continue to win games for them. And the QB situation would have to be completely resolved... In Philly's case, Westbrook and McNabb both have to be healthy for the playoffs--and majority of the season. So, by default N.O. and Dallas are the two teams I could see representing the NFC.
The AFC is simply the dominant conference... Steelers will be much improved this year. SD, Indy, NE, BAL, CINCI are all contenders...Comment -

#6Props to the two above posters for being either similarly brilliant or similarly moronic to myself. The Rams, Panthers, and Bengals are three of my surprise teams this season. Meanwhile, the Saints and Bears are my #1 and #2 disappointment teams, so the NFC is really totally wide open as I see it.
I've got the NFC coming down to Seattle, STL, Green Bay, and Carolina. I feel the Packers have the best defense of the bunch, as well as the easiest division, which could lead to January games in the Frozen Tundra, and that's the difference for me.
The AFC is truly open. The four teams that I eventually narrowed it down to are Jacksonville, New England, Cincinatti, and San Diego, though several others could be there as well.
In the end I guess I'm going with SD beating GB, but as always, preseason NFL predictions are basically shots in the dark.Comment -
