    LOL. You are serious? Pack fan here too, but come on, the Bears will be in the same spot as last year. You cannot change the whole aspect of a team with a couple decent FA's. Cutler will be Cutler again. What a poor trade.

        There's little downside to this deal and gives Bear fans a reason to be excited about next season. It may be false excitement (I don't think this makes them a contender) but that is better than nothing. Without moves like this and no draft choices in the first 2 rounds, this was going to be a long off season. Plus if Peppers can get some pressure, it MIGHT make a poor secondary average.

        I like this and the other signings.

        Jesus, I miss football.

          They were 7-9 last year...if these moves push them to 9-7, 10-6 with Urlacher returning should be playoff bound. I miss football too.
