Reggie Bush likely to remain with Saints
Despite speculation that his $8 million base salary for 2010 might prompt the Saints to release Reggie Bush, sources said that the former USC star will return to the defending Super Bowl champions, likely under his current contract.

INDIANAPLOLIS -- Despite speculation that his $8 million base salary for 2010 might prompt the New Orleans Saints to release Reggie Bush, team sources and two sources close to the four-year veteran said late Friday that the former USC star will return to the defending Super Bowl champions, likely under his current contract.

Good move by the Saints. Of course I would love to see more production from Bush, but he is a major part of this offense. His mere presense affects the way defenses prepare for the Saints.

Seems like a good decision by the Saints. Would be a pretty crazy offseason for RB's if he were released joining Thomas Jones, LT and Westbrook. And there's still a slight possibility of Clinton Portis being released.

He has the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield, and run punts and kickoffs back. You do not find too many backs in the NFL that are triple threats.

I thought the triple threat was catch, run, and BLOCK

Good move by the Saints. Bush should be entering into his prime in the upcoming years, no reason to let him go.

I didn't expect they will really release him.

Hes a big part of that offense. Who knows, there is still time to see if he can restructure

With Sproles possibly available also, Bush does not have that much value, not to say he will not return though

Bush is staying. Teams that win the SuperBowl typically don't make many roster changes with players under contract.
