Well, The Lions do suck pretty damn bad on the road really, plus it's week 1 of the regular season. So needless to say I can understand the line. It's a game I will most likely pass on unless the public pushes Detroit up to a field goal.

ok you got one team that looks absoluty worse then last year( oakland) its hard to look worse when you have worst record previous year. Sure they have good D but Detroit has pretty solid offense and now more weapons and 2nd yr in martz system.

Seriously only way I see oakland winning this game is defensive points, which granted is possible I dont think it will happen. Id rather take my chances on a team that should have improved then a team that should be worse. Just my thoughts. not to meantion raiders home field advantage atmosphere is just like any shitty neighborhood bar so dont take home field to much into consideration, esp since lions should be used to ghetto and shitty environment being from detroit.

I thought about jumping on this game, but upon futher review of my stats I discovered that the Lions are one of the worst road teams of all time. It looks like a trap to me. I'm now looking at the Eagles at Pack land giving 3 points as my pick of the week for the start of the season. I've watched all of the preseason games and the pack just doesn't seem to have gotten the offensive side of the ball going. I also think that philly will be able to pressure Mr. Favre into some throws that will result in interceptions that will help the eagles win easy.

I have always watched exhibition football and I don't think it's a true indicator of how teams will perform in the regular season.
