In a perfect world there would be pro football every sunday. With 2 leagues. 6 months on 6 months off. Injuries would be crazy though.

I'm kinda relieved for the break. I was getting burned out on it.
Maybe they could move the UFL to the spring. I watched some of it, it wasn't terrible.

The UFL is a joke compared to the nfl....I say extend the season of the nfl there just arent enough games during the season. I realize it takes long to heal for the contact of it but hockey players play A LOT more games then do nfl players. just sayin...

Yes it would be nice if they added 2 more regular season games and subtracted 2 of the meaningless preseason games, but I heard thats what they are discussing

The break is nice in some ways, but I hear what you are saying...What if each team just had a B team that played in the Spring. Maybe just like a ten game schedule...With teams keep the same name and everything, it would help marketing, etc. and I think the brand of football would be good too.

Also could use it as a minor league of course...And again if it had the NFL name attached to it, it could work.

It's kinda sad when I leave the NFL combine on in the background. The draft is still a couple months away.

Any kind of minor league football in the spring would be worth watching. I vaguely remember something about getting popular college stars that didn't make the cut back together in their hometown.
Walter forgot... when you're desperate's when you got no choice.
