Are we still talking about this? I guess people need to find a reason why their pick lost and make it not their fault.

If the Saints weren't the better team, it's clear they were at least a good match for the Colts. I think everybody missed how good the Saints D played earlier in the season, and everybody got healthy during the three losses/bye week.

Why is it that when the Jets stayed with the Colts for the first half and totally fell apart in the second half, the story was Caldwell and Manning making great adjustments, but when the Saints do the same thing to the Colts, it's Manning losing the game?

By the line, Indy had approx 63% chance of winning the game, THAT MEANS A 37% CHANCE OF LOSING.

By my Dad's model, Indy had a 53.5% chance of winning, so a 46.5% of losing. (Several other modelers showed similar numbers, so almost all favored the Saints).

Point is: Still a large chance of losing the game due to the "breaks of the game".

Manning is still a great QB, Caldwell is still a very good coach, Indy still has very good fans...

...certainly better than the Raider's, or Cleveland's, or the Filthy-delphia fans.

The COLTS are a great organization and perhaps there is no team with more overall class then the COLTS at the present time.

So many classy players on this team that no less then about 6-7 players on the team could be considered for the Walter Payton Award year in and year out.

Why some people think Manning is the best QB ever?
He is not even the best in the super bowls, LOL
Bradshaw and Montana are 4-0 in super bowls, Forrest Gump is only 1-1

Reggie Wayne was supposed to turn in, instead he just turned around you will never here Manning say this because he never points the finger of blame nor do you see him hang a reciever or offensive lineman out to dry

Does it really matter? The game is over people. Move on to this coming season.

And if they'd driven for the touchdown, is the onside kick a given because Peyton is the man?
