I know the Vikings need a QB and all, but why would you trade for a washed up Kurt Warner anyways. This guys numbers have declined year after year, and always seems to get hurt to boot.

I think Warner would be a decent fit in Minny. Jackson is not ready to be a number 1, the running game will keep opposing D's honest in comparison to what Arizona could, the young minny receiving corps will benefit from an expierienced and accurate signal caller, and the O-line is solid for Minny, which will give Warner time to drop back in his typical fashion. The Vikings think they can win the division this year, so why not try to bolster there biggest glaring weakness.Comment -

Warner played very well for stretches in Arizona. O-line was much improved, and he's a much faster passer than Leinart. I think Warner should be given the starting job in Phoenix, and I'm almost ready to concede that Leinart will be a flop in the NFL.
With Warner at the helmet I could see Cardinals reach the postseason. They should be 4-2, maybe even 5-1 before going into their bye week, and the first half of their season has only two teams with a winning record last season. But they have to get past the QB controversy. I don't like the idea of Leinart starting the first games and f*cking up a soft early schedule. Warner knows what it takes to win it all. Leinart is a kid who has refused to grow up for too long. And yet the Cardinals will start him, because he's supposed to be their future...Comment
