Peyton Manning "forgot" to congratulate the Saints
When he lost. He went straight to the lockers. I guess choking on the big game 3 times out of 4 in his career had its toll on his class.
What a douchebag and sore loser.

I don't see what the big deal is when shit like this happens. Anyone who's ever played an organize sports knows how shitty losing feels, but you can't imagine how it feels on a level like this.
But I'm not surprised that you're bitching about it.

Have you ever seen the World Cup of soccer final or the FA Cup final in England? The runner up congratulate the winners and even exchange jerseys and show the utmost of class for the champions.

He woulda never found Brees in the chaos that was on the field anyway.
But he did Call Brees and congratulated him after the game.

Obviously you never played at a competitive level, it is called sportsmanship ya tool. However, it does not surprise me that it is coming from an individual such as yourself.

I don't see it as much in Duncan. Manning has that forehead.

Class and sportsmanship are not specific sport oriented. You see class in golf, soccer and many other sports.

Kurt Warner is the epitome of class. He lost two Superbowls, one with Belichek cheating with the videotaping and one with the zebras pushing Steelers but he congratulated his opponents as soon as the game was over.

Manning should take a note from SBR posters who are always putting their class on display when their bets lose.

Losers, no big deal. There's like 40 games tonight. All -110 just like the super bowl spread and total. Who cares about one bet?
I had saints but went with colts -5. I had the under 57 though. Easy money on that.
Manning was in a hurry to shoot his next commercial.

Unfortunate. You should show class in victory and defeat. He should of done a 4.5 40 to be the first to shake Drew's hand. I think he is great but that is unacceptable.

I don't recall seeing star players ever exchange handshakes after a superbowl after a loss. Elway never did it with Farve in Superbowl 32. So, I don't see anything wrong with what he did.

Golf isn't a sport. Soccer isn't contact (though you couldn't tell from the diving and subsequent "injuries"). You go through a grueling NFL schedule full of sacks and everything else that comes with being a QB, lose the big game after a brutal showing, the guy is allowed to be upset. Ridiculous to criticize the guy.
Watch Lesner after he beats Mir. Then talk about poor sportsmanship and not having class.

He did more than congratulate the Saints. He offered no resistence to Porters pick 6, which is more respect than any handshake will ever mean. Dan Marino used to do the same thing, just a half ass effort on interceptions, my 2 year old daughter would at least dive at the legs.

MMA is not a sport. And Manning wasn't sacked or hit once during the game so for his position he was hit less than a soccer player. What injury did Manning endured during the game to warrant not shaking a single Saints player hand?

Maybe he thought it was best to get out of the way and let Brees enjoy his moment. He called Brees later and that should be good enough. I dont think he should be expected to call all the Saints.
