I know most of you hate teasers, but my play today was Washington +9, Under 41.5. At -110, it seems like I'm stealing...

Also played the GB ML (at +240 for an X game, I thought I saw enough value there) and played them at +7, bought the half point.

And lastly, for the action junkies, I teased the Under of Houston-Chicago/Cleveland-KC/Miami-Jax, Tennesee-Wash...

All winners tonight. Only play I lost on was Jax -2. Seriously, today was one of those days that makes up for the grind. Bankroll increased 40%+ in one day, thanks in large part to large teasers/parlays. Normally plays I would NOT make, but I felt good about today. It was a really good night. Especially loved the Redskins scoring with 1:14 left in the game. Perfect day, except for Jax.

Some days, the stars are aligned my bother. i certainly remeber you going on some sick streaks during NBA/NCAA hoops/NFL...

I honestly feel like a college kid tonight.

I also liked houston and jax and both ended up being 1 point losers. Would have been great on babaoriley's teasers. Trent Green looked terrible for Miami, and if it was him leading that drive with less than 5 minutes to go (instead of Beck), i would have been more confident with a win. Sea and SD today, i think im leading to a SD win -3.5...even though LT will just suit and not play.
Can either one of you tell me if there is a sight that has the last 5 years preseason box scores.

I know this is going to make me sound like an idiot, but could someone explain to me what a teaser is? And use an example, like I am 5 years old?

                      Thanks

A teaser is the counterpart to a parlay, where both teasers and parlays are ways to combine multiple wagers into a single bet. The benefit gained by doing so with a teaser is a variable number of points in your favor on each part of the bet.

                        Example:

You want to bet Seattle +3' and Philly +3', but aren't comfortable with just 3 points for each team. Put both bets on a 5pt football parlay and your bet looks like this--

                        Seattle +8'
                        -&-
                        Philadelphia +8'

If both cover, you get paid a standard -110 payout for a much more comfortable point spread in each game.

The payout is much lower in teaser plays than parlays. You're basically adjusting the spread and /or Game Totals. You're adding points to the dog or shaving points off the fav. Same with Over/Unders.
