#37Colts will score at will. Saints will move the ball but the Colts will tighten up in the red zone. Thats the way it should work out. But this game could go either way, both teams can score 50+ points pretty easily on the other defense. Just watch boys, don't bet this one.
Wait a minute, I just saw that JJ took the Colts. I would highly advise people to follow JJ on these big games. These are the ones he knocks out of the park usually.Comment -

#49true that indy did not face huge powerful offenses in the playoffs, but the other angle you are not considering is that they carved up the best defenses in the NFL... manning just plays ball, and when he needs to hit that 2 minute drill, there is not a D on the planet that could stop him this year.
sure the saints D has made turnovers this year. the colts KNOW that is the only weapon that they have, so please believe that they will be holding onto the ball like ****ing magnets to the fridge.
the saints will not be able to stop manning. no way no how.. the question is will the colts be able to stop brees... and with their defensive coordinator, and speed, they will be able to stop them enough..

#52Here is an angle that I like in all sports. I call it the Willis Reed Effect. Dwight Freeney is going to give it the old go and inspire his team's will to win for their brave and fallen comrade. So with Manning, a well disciplined team, a veteran coaching staff, the Willis Reed Effect, Vinetari, and Manning and the two minute drill I would say they win this by 14. Fukk the ML.Comment -

the same remarkable coach who tom brady and the pats lit up for 480 or the same remarkable coach who the Texans lit up for 350 passing ?

#55Saints know they gotta get to Manning to win. Did you see Favre after the NFC Championship game? HUGEASS THIGH BRUISE, ankle looked like....ummmm...a purple something not resembling an ankle. I knew he had gotten smoked but fukk.
I mean he had a bigass thigh bruise.
Can Saints D get to Manning? Hardly anyone gets to Manning. Both QBs work the "Quick Release" real well.
Should be a great gameComment -

#56And I believe they did win both of those games. Goes to show that they can play any style to win. Same goes in the big game. Colts win.Originally posted by ZBOIZthe same remarkable coach who tom brady and the pats lit up for 480 or the same remarkable coach who the Texans lit up for 350 passing ?

The spread already dictated the winner. It started @ -3.5 then jumped to -5.5. See where the sharp money goes. Now watch the public's money. Money steadily increases on the Saints heavily. We now know Indy will cover because by game time most of the money will be laid on the Saints + and ML. Books cover. As usual. Even with an injured Freeney the line only moved a half of a point. We are talking about an important cog in what some say is an overrated defense. Well the line says different. The line says he will not be missed as much as the public suspects he will. Like Manning said, "We don't worry if he plays or not. Whoever steps in wants to pick up the bayonet and step up." Sounds good to me!
Colts by at least a TD.

#59Can someone explain to me why the Saints only put up 250 yards of total offense against the Vikings when the Vikings had virtually ZERO pass rush in that game and the Saints were playing AT HOME.
Brees had all day to throw and still did nothing! They didn't even put together a single drive in the whole second half! Their two scoring drives started at the Minnesota 10 and 30 yard line. It wasn't like Brees was out there running for his life like Romo was against the Vikes.

#64Man if it was any other QB besides Dr. Manning. I have seen the Saints lose to Dallas, Tampa Bay and Carolina. The Colts didn't lose to anyone. The Saints caught more breaks against the Vikings than I have ever seen. You're watching the Jordan of football folks. Don't bet against Dr. Manning.Comment -
