    If Freeny plays it will hurt the colts it is almost certain
    Here is some interesting facts: Every game this season in which Freeny did not contribute but still played meaning he had no tackles or pressure what I'm trying to say Dwight was basically a waste of space on the gridiron and the Colts Damn near lost every single one of those games

    The game he did not play at all in they beat Houston by 8 points which is 1 more point than all 3 of Freeny's half assed episodes combined which is 7 measly points!!!

    I am now pretty much convinced that the Saints are going to at-least cover the spread here boys, after-all this is all that matters if your play is Saints +4 1/2 or better, who cares who wins just pay the sucka


    Bottom line Freeny is = to Kryptonite to the Colts DeFense if he tries to play

    Healing Indianapolis Colts DE Dwight Freeney to test ankle Friday

    Things are starting to look better for Colts sack master Dwight Freeney ... literally. "It is starting to look more like an ankle now," he said Thursday.
    What was a swollen grapefruit on his right foot seems to be getting down to a navel orange. By Super Bowl Sunday, the defensive end is hoping he'll reap the fruits of his round-the-clock therapy.
    "I am still day to day. Every time I wake up in the morning I reassess the situation," he said. "I haven't seen the trainers yet this morning, so I haven't heard what they have to say about it. I'm just feeling it out. It's starting to feel a little better. It is definitely a little sore. I think that is the nature of the injury, but it is making progress."
    Freeney plans to give the ankle, which he injured when he pulled up while trying to avoid hitting Jets QB Mark Sanchez late in the AFC Championship Game, its first test Friday and again Saturday. If he plays, he will do so without any practice this week.
    Meanwhile, Raheem Brock, the man who would replace Freeney if he can't go, said yesterday he would move to the left side, with Robert Mathis, the Colts' other Pro Bowl DE, lining up in Freeney's spot on the right side. That would pit Mathis' speed and quickness against LT Jermon Bushrod, considered the weak link in the Saints' highly regarded offensive line.
    "That's how we did it earlier in the year," Brock said. "Then we'll just do what we usually do. The young guys have to step up. We have nice rotation on the D-line. We rotate guys like a hockey team. Our defense, the way it is now, we come at you from different angles. I'm up at linebacker, things like that. We've got a lot of things we're going to attack with. We're not just going to sit there and play four linemen."
    Brock said none of those options would be taken away if Freeney doesn't play.
    "The only thing it's going to take away is Dwight's playmaking ability, him being able to do things on his own," he said. "We can't replace Dwight but we still have a great defensive line."
    The Saints, who have seen much of Freeney's ability to make plays on film, are assuming that the Syracuse product will play.
    "I'm preparing as if Freeney is playing," Bushrod said. "But we're getting looks at all the guys who have lined up there, Freeney, Brock, Mathis, (Eric) Foster."
    "Whoever is at those positions, you've got to account for them," said Saints offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael. "Like any defense, they'll line up guys in different places trying to create a mismatch."
    Brock feels the Colts will find one.
    "It is a good offensive line, but we're a good defensive line. So we'll see what happens. We watch film. A lot of people have played them well. They haven't seen our team speed yet. If you watch film on us, we've got 10 guys to the ball every time, even the big guys."
    With or without Freeney, Brock said, the Colts are looking to dominate.
    "We don't get respect in this league. You had two teams (Ravens and Jets) that wanted to talk trash and run the ball against us. We shut them down," he said. "They wanted to come in there and run the ball down our throat. It doesn't work like that. This week, we're trying to get our respect. If we can dominate this game Sunday, that will be the icing on the cake."

      2 of those games are on the road and all of them are good teams two playoff teams and the other a Div game which is always close. So I'm really not seeing it man. They don't win games cause of freeney they win with Manning. Freeney is a great player and all but Manning is the reason the Colts cover. Go Colts Go

        You just answered your own argument you said Manning wins the games and you are right but with Freeny they dominate the games so do the math Colts will struggle to win but most likely won't cover

          I did aswer that way at all puali I'm say the the Cts cover with or without him. It will be great to see Freeney get a sack on the first D series and see saints fan crap there pants.
